Joint Innovation: Research Developed with Politecnico di Torino Ranked Among the Best Papers of 2025 by IEEE
Collaboration with academia has always been one of the key pillars of our R&D activities. In this spirit, we are pleased to share a significant achievement that highlights the value of strong partnerships between industry and universities.
The paper “Power Decoupling Methods for Grid Support Provided by Ultra-Fast Bidirectional Chargers”, developed by our colleague Alessandro Roveri in collaboration with the Power Electronics Innovation Center (PEIC) at Politecnico di Torino, has been selected by the IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications as one of the top papers of 2025.
The research focuses on one of the most relevant challenges in today’s energy landscape: enabling grid support services through ultra-fast bidirectional chargers. The proposed methodologies are scalable across all grid-connected inverter applications, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Renewable Energy Sources (RES), contributing to more efficient, stable and intelligent energy architectures.
This recognition confirms Prima Electro’s commitment to driving technological innovation in next-generation energy management and demonstrates the strength of collaborative research with the academic world.
